Happy Customer
Tailwind performed a passenger charter from Monterey, CA to Addison, TX using a Citation Excel. The charter passengers included two gentleman and five dogs, two of which were chocolate labs pictured here. The passengers also had a significant amount of luggage and even some small furniture pieces that Tailwind’s staff were able to quickly offload. Ground transportation to their destination was also provided.
The
passengers all enjoyed a smooth ride at 41,000′ and made the flight in just over three hours. Tailwind was able to secure a one-way flight, thereby saving the customer a significant amount of money over a round-trip charter.

Susan Hawley Condon Joins Tailwind International
Susan Hawley Condon, formerly VP of Kitty Hawk, has joined Tailwind International Air Charters as Manager of Business Development. Susan has had a long and extended career in the aviation industry. She is known for her many accomplishments at Kitty Hawk. She established and ran the Postal side of Kitty Hawk’s business. Susan joined Kitty Hawk in the early 80′s in the customer service division and was instrumental in expanding the company into a thriving multi- million dollar business.
Susan’s passion for aviation began before she joined Kitty Hawk. While in College Station, Texas she exercised her love of flying and opened up a flight school which she ran for a number of years and even dabbled in flying for a while before joining Kitty Hawk. Prior to the bankruptcy of Kitty Hawk, Susan left and started her own concern, Postal Air. Her primary client was the US Postal Service arranging many of the required air charter flights.
She retired in 2003 and totally switched gears and started breeding horses on a 54 acre ranch, 75 miles north of Dallas, Texas.
“Tailwind International is pleased to have Susan on our team, she brings an enormous amount of knowledge and creativity to our company and will greatly benefit the aviation community at large “, remarked Michele Wilkinson, CEO & President of Tailwind International Air Charters.
